RAIZ BRAZIL DANCE COMPANY
Raiz Brazil is a dance company that showcases not only the Brazilian samba, but also other rhythms and types of dances from Brazil like axe, samba-reggae, frevo, xaxado, maracatu, carioca funk (funk from Rio de Janeiro), Brazilian hip-hop, caboclinho among others, and we work also with the fusion of different styles and elements. We create art and entertainment simultaneously, always focusing on maintaining the authenticity with great energy and excitement. Our dancers have extensive dance background not only in samba and Brazilian rhythms, but they are technically trained in others disciplines such as ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, ballroom, salsa, etc. We perform in theatrical events, corporate events, weddings and private parties.
